Robert J. Brown Jr. (in Memoriam) 

Chairman Emeritus / Co-Founder


Robert J. Brown, Jr. was co-founder and Senior Chairman of The Savoy Group.  

Prior to forming Savoy in 2012, Mr. Brown was Chairman/CEO at Teletimer International Inc. ("Teletimer") where he was responsible for the exclusive national license of the Teletimer Energy Savings Service ("TESS") to Bell Atlantic/Verizon ("Verizon"). Before joining Teletimer, Mr. Brown was Vice President General Operations Manager at The Magnavox Co. ("Magnavox"). While at Magnavox, Mr. Brown conceived, invented, patented, and licensed the first dial-up facsimile machine to Xerox Corporation ("Xerox") and coined the name "Telecopier" which Xerox used to sell its fax machines. 

Prior to Magnavox, Mr. Brown held various management and executive management positions at the General Electric Co. ("GE"). While at GE, Mr. Brown conceived, proposed, and developed the Polaris Missile System with the US Navy. In 1963, Mr. Brown founded and was elected Chairman at General Electric Technical Services Co., which operated in 34 countries worldwide and employed 34 thousand employees. Additionally, Mr. Brown was General Manager of GE's Defense Programs Division and Chairman at Apparaten Industry Defense Electronics, NV, The Hague, Netherlands, Vice President Lundy Electronics & Systems, Inc., Executive Vice President, Director Maxson Electronics, Long Island, New York, Vice President at Hazeltine Corp., Greenlawn, NY, Senior Vice President at Potter Instrument Co. Inc., Plainview, NY, and President at Barry Miller Ordnance, Gardena, CA.

Richard G. Chosid

Vice Chairman 


Mr. Chosid has over 51 years of experience as a chief litigation attorney advising Blue Martini Lounges and LaPlaya Title Company in formation of new business entities as well as ongoing business operations, advising other new businesses on formation of corporations and business structures. Litigation since 1963 in both State and Federal Courts and licensed in both Michigan and Florida, admitted in over 20 Federal Districts and worked on cases at all levels from Justice of the Peace to the United States Supreme Courts. Board Member working up to Vice-President as well as serving as the associate Jag Officer of the United States Navel League, Fort  Lauderdale Council. Founding member, legal counsel, program developer and participant in Raven Ministries, a local South Florida food collection and distribution ministry to the poor and needy. 

He earned his Bachelor in Political Science at the University of Michigan and Juris Doctor at Wayne State University of Detroit. 

A.J. Van De Voort

Senior Managing Director - Energy / Co-Founder


Mr. Van De Voort is a global executive with 25 years of business development, operational and managerial experience in large corporations. Most of that experience was gained while working in the global Energy industry. He has deep expertise in value-critical areas such as corporate management and board governance, supply chain/procurement, lean process redesign, sales force optimization, human resources, systems/financial controls and IT management with major multinational and independent Energy companies. Since 2001 he was responsible as a Senior Director for SAP at ExxonMobil. He has cultivated long-term multi-cultural clients in such countries as The Netherlands, Germany, England, France, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Chad, Angola, Singapore, Australia, Papua New Guinea, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea, Brazil, Canada and the United States. 

He earned a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science at the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands) in 1981, and is a member of the Petroleum Club in Houston.

Roderick Moe

Senior Managing Director - Finance


Roderick C. Moe has over 30 years of experience in tax and accounting as a Certified Public Accountant for businesses and individuals. He provides consultation services related to legal matters, including divorce, business damages, personal injury, and wrongful death, and has been accepted as an expert witness in Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties in Florida. 

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at the University of Illinois, Chicago and a Certified Public Accountant, in the State of Illinois and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Walter Bryan Hammock

Marketing Director


Mr. Hammock is an International Business Development expert with over 30 years of experience. He first gained success in the Restaurant Industry and has since expanded his knowledge and skills to various other fields. For 15 years, Mr. Hammock held the elite position as a Business Development Agent for the Subway Corporation internationally with numerous accolades. He pioneered the Subway franchise in Australia and developed over 500 + units. He also developed territories in New Zealand, Tasmania, Philippines, and parts of Europe. In addition to his leadership role at Savoy, Mr. Hammock is leveraging his vast experience and expertise as the President of Global Franchise Development & Operation for Franchise Resource Group, Inc., a global franchise development consulting company. Subway, Auntie Anne’s, Hooters, Shula’s, Down Under Charcoal Chicken, and Burgerfi International concept are just some of the powerful brands Mr. Hammock has represented.
